Richmond BizSense recently profiled Fulton Hill Properties breaking ground on a nearly $40 million mixed-use development project called Artisan Hill.
The article describes the development as a benchmark for Fulton Hill’s Margaret Freund, highlighting her other projects that have included the Bottoms Up Pizza building, the former Flood Zone/Have a Nice Day Café building, the Haxall View and Lava Lofts apartments, and the Lady Byrd Hat building that now houses CarMax offices.
Site work began in early August and is expected to be complete during the summer of 2019. Between $38 million and $40 million has been budgeted for the project.
Real estate investment bank JB Levy & Co. secured financing for the deal, working through the Virginia Housing Development Authority.
